The Prize Blog is a creation of Brian Aldrich as The Original Contest Blog, which started in 2006. This site has seen dramatic changes over the last few months since seeing it June, when I came into the Blogosphere. Blogger and entrepreneur, Brian resides in Gardiner, New York and has had experiences with MTV Networks. As far as some background information, he is also the CEO and Webmaster of Blog Duck - a blog about blogging tips and ideas.

If you are looking to host a contest. I would come to this blog and check out what different types of formats are there. Get a feel for what you want to do. Increase RSS, technorati fav count, comments? Find similar contests and you can copy their format or you can make some changes to stand out. Get featured from The Prize Blog and he will write a longer post and it will come with a “Featured” logo. You will also receive a link on the sidebar for the duration of your contest. What a great way to stand out from the rest of the contests going on in the blogosphere. You can also still submit your contest for free to be in one of his postings.
