Business Wire states that blogging is now reaching a new audience of consumers. Doctors are given a chance to talk directly to the consumer. This could open a whole new realm of discussion of a medium.Â
While blogging is growing exponentially, 72 million blogs in 2007 compared to 35 million in 2006, medical blogging is a relatively new phenomenon. There currently exists approximately 700 medical blogs in the blogosphere. Unlike many other medical blogs which are written by doctors for other doctors, Dr. Val and The Voice of Reason speaks directly to consumers. Read full article.

Blogging is here to stay.
Perhaps that’s because, over the past decade, the blog has morphed into something much louder–and more lucrative. Barger never planned to make any money from his Web log, and he never did. But today’s blogosphere is a more mammon-driven place. Viewed through the lens of business, one might say that blogs are even coming of age.
Steve King, a senior fellow at the Society of New Communications Research, estimates that blogs attract between $50 million and $100 million of ad money a year, a figure that’s multiplying rapidly. Read full Article.
This fuels lots of drive for this movie to get completed. It’s a driving phenomenon that needs to be showcased. This movement is starting to get more recognition from the centralized media networks. Blog ON!

NY times states that blogs are resourceful way to market your small company.
That tool is blogging, though small businesses with blogs are still a distinct minority. A recent American Express survey found that only 5 percent of businesses with fewer than 100 employees have blogs. Other experts put the number slightly higher.
But while blogs may be useful to many more small businesses, even blogging experts do not recommend it for the majority.
Blog are becoming more popular with corporations. However it would be difficult to create a blog for a company if they only had a few products or services. Blogs feed on constant updates. This is why gossip and tech blogs to so well.Â

Happy belated! From popular belief that Jorn Barger coined the term blog on December 17, 1997 by combining “web” and “log”, Blogging is now 10 years old. Not everyone will agree with that he coined this term due to the updated journals before that term came to existence, however he was responsible for that term.
Blogging has come a long way from html codes. With platforms such as xanga, blogspot, typepad and wordpress; it has made it easier for someone to start a blog. There are still many who do not blog yet read many. Once someone can find a way to bridge this gap. Then blogging will become a part of everyday life. Where all our opinions and thoughts can be intertwined with web. Making the web an enormous storage data of the masses.
This storage data is growing at an exponential rate and some would say that it is only the beginning.

Sometimes it’s not about what you know or who you know. Sometimes is just purely about how long you’ve been doing it.Â
Many 2007 bloggers have come and gone. Most have drifted away or have been stagnate for some bit. It seems the whole wave of make money bloggers has settled. I have to admit sometimes people can get writers block. It’s a frustrating concept when you hit a road block. How many times can you circle around one niche topic?? Then you realize you have to go do your due diligence and research new findings for a good quality post. Yes we all know that consistency is the heart beat of the blog, it keeps a rhythmic flow so that readers can come back on a timely manner.
When it comes down to it, all you have to is stick it out. I’m a firm believer about rewarding those who are producing more. Yet when it comes to respect in the blogosphere, it’s more about your longevity. It becomes increasingly harder to maintain your position in blogosphere with time.Â
Hard work does pay off; you just have to visualize it to achieve it.

What is the proper etiquette for blogging through the holidays?
As Thanksgiving approaches most families will be spending their days off together. Should one let the audience know that they will be away for a few days? Here are 2 suggestions if you did not already know.
Time StampÂ
Everyone has this feature on Wordpress, yet I find that few actually use this feature. It’s at the bottom right of the screen on the write post page. It’s a very useful and easy to utilize.
Put up a noticeÂ
Putting up a blog notice is an easy way to let your readers know that you’ll be gone for a few days / weeks. Why? It’s just polite.  Having your readers come back with no updates is just rude. It’s like going to your fast food restaurant and finding out that it is not open for business.Â
Why is the WII still hard to get?
I’m not sure if it’s because I’m in Orange County, however the WII is still a scarce commodity at our local stores. I’ve checked Game Stop, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy.Â
Hot items this Christmas:
iPhone
WII
iPods
What items are you looking to buy this season?

This blog / project has come a long way from his early beginnings. At first this was a simple idea I conjured up. Thinking that the world needs to know what kind of potential there really is out there. Blogging has seen so much growth in recent years, it seems that it will continue to grow at an exponential rate.
With this growth, comes territory. People want to jump in on this wave to claim their spot in its infancy stage. The only way to stand out from the crowd you really need to brand yourself, your image and your whole personality.
Coming from Cash For Comments, my beginner site. I decorated this Blogging the Movie site with a BOLD RED and YELLOW. I thought that these colors would stand out and make it easily recognizable. After a few words from friends and reviews from forums.digitalpoint.com I decided that a change was needed. This new blue theme works well.
Blue
It symbolizes professionalism and trust. Lets think about this for a minute. Have you ever been to a stop light wanting to get gas. Then you come across 2 gas stations one Shell (red and yellow) and the other one Chevron (Blue, White and Red). I’m not sure about you, but for some reason I’m 80% more inclined to go to use the Chevron Gas Station, even if it means I have to turn and drive a little bit further to get there. Colors really do affect the way we feel.
Other Blue Sites:
Hotmail, Gmail, Wordpress, AOL, John Chow, Shoemoney.. this list goes on and on. But if you really want to have that trustworthy image, GO BLUE!

So who’s behind Unique Blog Designs?
These 3 guys (Nate, Josh, & Matt) from Scottsdale, Arizona form the team of UBD. My PR rep Huy Diep and I actually had a chance to meet up with these guys early October. They have a great drive and it reminds me of what the young guys were doing in the early hay days before the computer boom. They were on the same page as me with my ideas and my dreams to make an impact in this world. Blogging The Movie just walked into a motivational boot camp and I’m not going to lie, it was refreshing to be with like-mind people. So, thank you UBD for the hospitality and assistance with the new design. I love it.
People who understood that this web 2.0 hype is going to be greater than you, than me, than all pre-existing internet related ideas will try to ride this wave to capitalize on it. You have a chance, the time is now.
The best designers in the biz
Hands down, I’m going to say it, Unique Blog Designs trumps all other blog designers. They know what the bloggers need and that is to be unique. Each design they put out is customized to your needs. For me, it’s a documentary and they make it work for my video trailer section. For a small one time fee it’s an easy sell if you’re a professional. If you want the best you need to work with the best.

Blogging has come a long way in recent years. From personal use to a huge demand in the market place. The blogging industry is currently a at an approximate 0.015 percent of the job market from a little over 0.001 percent in February 2005. This industry is creating more content for the web at an exponential rate, because you are not dealing with a sole company that can generate professional valuable content. However, you are dealing with over 120,000 blogs that are created each day.
Here is a graph from Indeed, - One search. All jobs.

With 120,000 different views and opinions, one blog alone is not valuable. The power of numbers dictate what is valuable, through related links. Blogs are generally updated 4-7 times a week. All new content all new opinions.
It’s amazing to think that in a few years with this rate of growth has not even its jump in the S-Curve. The coming years are going to be an interesting journey for the pioneers of this blogging front.
A huge gathering of movers and shakers will be attending the 1st Blog World Expo in Las Vegas November 8th and 9th. If you happen to go the event, stop by our booth.
