Blogging Through the Holidays
What is the proper etiquette for blogging through the holidays?
As Thanksgiving approaches most families will be spending their days off together. Should one let the audience know that they will be away for a few days? Here are 2 suggestions if you did not already know.
Time StampÂ
Everyone has this feature on Wordpress, yet I find that few actually use this feature. It’s at the bottom right of the screen on the write post page. It’s a very useful and easy to utilize.
Put up a noticeÂ
Putting up a blog notice is an easy way to let your readers know that you’ll be gone for a few days / weeks. Why? It’s just polite.  Having your readers come back with no updates is just rude. It’s like going to your fast food restaurant and finding out that it is not open for business.Â
Why is the WII still hard to get?
I’m not sure if it’s because I’m in Orange County, however the WII is still a scarce commodity at our local stores. I’ve checked Game Stop, Target, Walmart, and Best Buy.Â

Hehe, i just sold my wii about 2 weeks ago for $300…. what a mistake. Now, i could have got so much more for it.

it seems the Wii is so popular for the 20’s somethings.. its a fun game to drink wine and play Wii Sports.. I hear all the time about Wine and Wii parties…

My household is right between the generations that might like the Wii. I’m OK without a game console and my daughter is still watching Disney Princess videos and playing with virtual paperdolls online. But, I hear the Wii rocks. I’ll give it that.
If I could ask Santa to shove just own thing down my stove exhaunt (no fireplace here), it would be a new house. *sigh* Let’s hope overall earning potential for blogs gets its legs back soon.
Your mention of the time stamp is right on. Not enough people take advantage of it. I might give it a plug on my blog later tonight to remind my readers.
